It is easy to create a gallery wall with your art. Remove the pressure of needing to match frames and colors unless this is the aesthetic you prefer. Before you begin, here are a few suggestions.
- Lay out all your art on the floor and begin rearranging the pieces to see what you like best placed next to one another.
- Take photos of your layout, study them and rearrange until your collection speaks to you and you feel inspired by your own creation.
- Photograph your art and use APPS to create a visual on your phone.
A trick I have seen on social is to create paper cutout shapes of your pieces. Then, mark on the paper where to drill the holes and attach to the wall for a precise layout. You can also hire a framer, installer, or lure your partner, friend or your child (this will be a math lesson for them!) to assist.
Good luck! I hope there is a figure art piece in your collection! Pictured here is a collection of my work.
